Foot Foundations from Eric Ward — coming soon to Overland Park.

Coming soon to Tune Me: the only place in the Kansas City area offering Foot Foundations from Eric Ward. They change how your foot meets the ground, so your feet, knees, and hips share the load the way they’re built to.

What Foot Foundations are

Foot Foundations are custom 3D-printed insoles made by Eric Ward of Limitless Feet in Aspen, Colorado. He has worked on foot alignment for more than 25 years, starting with ski racers.

The insoles we offer do one job: pronation. Pronation is how your foot rolls in when it lands. A little roll is normal. These insoles are not arch supports, and they are not meant to hold your whole foot still.

Why the moment your foot lands matters

When your foot meets the ground, your heel and the ball of your big toe should share the load. For many people, the foot arrives already rolled in. One part of the foot ends up doing too much of the work.

The insole changes the angle of the ground under your foot. That helps your heel and the ball of your big toe land together. The middle of your foot is left free to bend, move, and do its own work.

How the measurement works

We measure each foot here at the clinic with Eric Ward’s patented measuring device.

  • You stand on one foot at a time. Left and right are often different, so each foot gets its own number.
  • While you stand on one leg, you slowly bend and straighten your knee. We watch how your knee and foot line up as you move.
  • Your pronation is recorded in degrees.
  • Those numbers are used to 3D-print your insoles.

If you already have a motion evaluation or a gait look, bring it up. How your feet land is often part of the same story.

Who it is for

Tune Me is for anyone who wants to move better and age better. Insole measurement fits when you wonder whether the way your feet land is part of your picture — on walks, at work, or in your sport.

This is a wellness service. It does not replace your doctor. If a doctor is already treating a foot problem, check with them first.
