Gait is how you walk when no one is coaching you.
Markerless tracking can measure timing, symmetry, and loading through the walking cycle. We use it when walking is part of the question you came in with.
Gait analysis assesses how you walk.
This look uses markerless motion tracking to measure movement patterns, timing, and symmetry through the walking cycle.
It can provide insight into:
- Stride length and walking efficiency
- Balance and coordination
- Joint movement and loading patterns
- Left-to-right asymmetries
Gait analysis is useful in rehabilitation, injury prevention, and the slower project of staying able to walk well as you age. It is especially useful when one side does not match the other — the same story a DEXA can tell in muscle.
After the walk
Gait findings belong in a clinic conversation, not a shopping cart. If walking is the problem, ask us whether a motion evaluation belongs next to your scores.
If you already have composition numbers, start at what now. If you do not, a $150 DEXA is still a sound first measurement.
